Florence "Fluffy" Bergmann has made serving youth and families from the Mystic Housing Development her life's mission. A former Mystic resident herself, she has directed the organization since 1978 and has received many awards for her service to low-income children, youth and families. She earned her B.A. degree in philosophy with a minor in sociology from Boston State College. Florence also holds a Master’s Certificate in Non-Profit Human Service Management from Suffolk University.
Tracey has worked with children and youth for 21 years and has been on the staff of MLC since 2014. Before working at the MLC she served for many years as the Program Director of the Malden YMCA. Tracey holds a B.A. in Human Services and Criminal Justice from UMASS Boston.
Kelin began her career at MLC as a volunteer in 2012 and became a member of the Junior Staff in the Empowering
Competent Youth program one year later. After returning to college, Kelin came back to MLC as a Site Coordinator and continues to pursue a degree in nursing.
Kevin began his career at MLC as a Peer Leader in the Empowering Competent Youth Program in 2000, and later was promoted to Group Leader and Adult Advisor. He is currently finishing his Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Urban College and plans to earn his B.A in Education from Lesley University.
Nick has worked with children and youth for almost 10 years and joined the MLC staff in 2014. He holds a B.A. in Theatre and English from UMASS, Amherst.
Christopher Rodriguez began working at the Mystic Learning Center as a youth volunteer in 2010 and was hired as a Junior Staff in the Empowering Competent Youth Program in July of 2011. He was hired as a member of the Commonwealth Corps in August 2017.
